"I am satisfied that a happy
marriage is not so much a
matter of romance as it is an
anxious concern for the
comfort and well-being
of one's companion."
-President Gordon B. Hinckley
Everything about April 18th was Perfect.
My favorite parts of the day were:
-Driving early in the morning with Jamie
to get my makeup done
-Driving to the temple with my mom
-Seeing Trayco walk into the temple where I was "patiently" waiting
-Trayco squeezing my hand before we parted ways to get dressed
-Watching Trayco get teary eyed in the Celestial Room as he told me how much he loves me
-Feeling a wall of love hit me as we walked into
the sealing room as we saw all of our friends and family
-Holding Trayco's sweaty hands as the sealer talked to us
-The sealer winking at me when it was time to say my part
-Looking into the mirrors with Trayco, not being able to comprehend how long eternity will be!
-Mom and Jamie helping me change into my dress
-The temple worker saying "Congratulations Sister Ross, your husband is ready for you"
-Feeling like a million bucks walking out of the temple in my dream dress
(Thanks Amy!)
-Telling Trayco not to squint during pictures because the sun was so bright"
-The photographer laying down in the dirt to get the perfect angle
-Getting in the truck and Trayco saying "Soooo we're married"
-Listening to all "our" songs on the way to the luncheon
-All of the kind words people said at the luncheon
-Trayco's mom hitting him during the luncheon video
when she found out he kissed me on our first date
-Taking a nap at my house before the reception
and waking up with my makeup all over Trayco's collar
-Seeing all the sunflowers at the reception
-Little girls from the ward telling me that "I look like a pretty princess"
-My face hurting from smiling so long at the reception
-My dad crying as I hugged him goodbye
-Changing out of my wedding dress behind the truck in the corner of the gas station
-Getting food at Wendy's drive through on our way to Park City
-Trayco: "Remind me again why we decided to book a hotel ALL the way in Park City"
