Little Man Ice Cream

Little Man Ice Cream is a must! 

I had never been on a weekend and I don't think I will ever again

but the ice cream is amazing so it was worth 

the 30 minute line that went clear up the street.

Trayco, Kai, and Kennet, did not brave the line so we 

ended up buying ice cream for everyone and 

jumping in the car as the boys drove past. 

Devil's Head

We hiked Devil's Head and it was awesome! 

It was a nice hike and once you think you are to the top there are very steep stairs you have to climb to get to the lookout. My thighs did not enjoy the stairs but the view at the top was well worth it. You could see for miles and miles in every direction and there were layers of mountains surrounding us.  

You know someone loves you if they drive 8 hours to see you!

Our first adventure was touring Hammond's Candy Factory and had a great time.

The best part by far was the candy store at the end, SO MUCH CANDY!

The next stop was The Butterfly Pavilion. It was actually our first stop but when we saw how many cars and buses were there we high tailed it out of there and came back in the afternoon!

Rosie with a smile on his face. 

It really is a small world..

Drew was companions with the little brother 

of an Elder who served in my mission, 

he was the AP when I went home and drove me to the airport.

There was a sister who served in my mission 

who was from Albania and Drew just got transferred to her home ward! 

She sends me pictures on Facebook every time that she see's him.

Tom's Warehouse Sale

Toms had a huge warehouse sale in Denver 

and a few of the Edge wives went to check it out.

They had good prices but it was pretty intense.

You get there and they give you a wristband

and tell you, you have 45 minutes to complete your shopping

and their are rows with boxes and boxes of shoes. 

I came away with two new pairs of shoes for

a pretty darn good deal.

Mother's Day!

It was so fun talking to Drew and Sabra on Mother's Day! 

I can't believe that Drew only had two more transfers left.

Hoss

Today was a very sad day in our family

We sold Hoss :(

We knew this time was coming but it is very 

sad knowing that he isn't around any more.

I always thought it was a little far fetched 

when people were attached to their vehicles but I now understand

Hoss has been with us since the beginning. 

Trayco picked me up for our first date in Hoss 

and lets just say I was quickly won over 

by his truck and Trayco's country attire.  

Every time Trayco picked me up for a date 

my stomach would get butterflies when I heard his 

loud truck coming down the street.

We drove in Hoss to our first trip

 together to Steamboat Springs and we ended up pulling 

to the side of the road and sleeping

 in the truck because it got so late and 

Trayco couldn't keep his eyes open.

He was dropping me off one night and we were sitting in Hoss when we first talked about getting married. I still remember Trayco's face turning a little red as he said "sooooo if we were to get married would you want to get married in the spring before I leave for Colorado for the summer or after" :)

We drove Hoss home from the temple 

after we were married and 

Hoss moved us to Colorado for our 

honeymoon and for both summers. 

So many memories in that truck.

You'll be missed Hoss! 

Trayco thought Hoss looked pretty good on the dirt hill when he took me shooting. 

This was inside Hoss after we were sealed. We got done taking pictures and got in the truck to drive to the luncheon and it was the first time we had been alone all day and the first time it sunk in that we were actually married. We listened to all of "our" songs on the way to the luncheon.

When your husbands work ALL day everyday it calls for a girl's trip to the temple.
