Maui! Day 3

Day 3 in Maui was definitely one of my favorite days!

We started the day off with snorkeling!
SO.
MUCH.
FUN!!!!

We rode a boat for miles and miles until we came to a reef
where they let us take off and roam the ocean with
our snorkeling gear.

The Edge crew!

There were so many fish in the water.
It was unbelievable.

I loved being in the water looking at all the fish.

We took another boat ride to Turtle Bay
where we got to snorkel with sea turtles!

Snorkeling was such a fun adventure and
I'm so grateful I got to experience it!

When we got back we took a walk along the beach to Whalers Village
where they have little shops and restaurants.

We bought Trayco a pair of Oakleys
and long sleeve swim shirts because his
poor skin couldn't take any more sun.

The sixth of November marked one
year since our first date!

I can't believe that it has been an entire year
since we met. So much has happened because of
that blind date and I am thankful for it everyday!

We celebrated by getting frozen yogurt!

The sunsets in Maui were amazing
 every single night!
The pictures don't do them justice
I loved walking along the beach
every night watching the sun go down.

We rode the shuttle into town and went shopping
at the outlets. They had an awesome
Adidas outlet! We ate at a cute pizza shop.

Maui! Day 2

We stayed at the Hyatt Resort & Spa
and it was breath taking!
It was right along the shore and it was
so beautiful and warm.

Our room had an ocean view and it was so
relaxing to open the screen door at night and
fall asleep to the ocean.

The resort had flamingos,
penguins (in Maui of all places),
fish ponds, and parrots that said "Aloha!"

We hung out at the beach for most of the day.
We forgot to bring sunscreen
which was a bad idea!
Trayco's skin was lobster red for the rest of the trip

They had AMAZING AMAZING
shaved ice in Maui.
So smooth and creamy that it
almost tasted like ice cream!

For dinner we went to a Luau with all
the Edge employees that were on the trip.

They had dinner and a program and it was
really entertaining.
The program was about the history of Maui
and included all of their native dances.
My favorite was the flame throwers.

Maui! Day 1

Day 1:
Trayco sold over 200 accounts this summer
so he won a free trip to Maui!

We had a layover in L.A. and
then a 5 hour flight to Maui.

I usually travel pretty well but I
had motion sickness like no other
on the flight to L.A.

Luckily there were free movies to
watch on the 5 on the flight to Maui
which made the flight much more enjoyable!

It was late by the time we got to our hotel
so we ordered pizza and then headed down to the
beach because Trayco could hardly contain himself.

It was his first time seeing the ocean!

Cabin Weekend

Adam and Kammi invited us to their cabin
down in Boulder for the weekend!

We had such a great time!
We stayed up way too late playing games every night

On Saturday we ventured out to go fishing.
Usually we can drive to the lake but
there was so much snow that the cars got
stuck and we ended up
hiking up the mountain.

On Sunday we attended the Boulder ward and
we literally more than doubled the
size of their ward!

After church we took a drive down the
"devils backbone"

There were 16 people and two babies staying in
a two room cabin but we had a great time!

6 Months

Happy Six Months to us.

It feels like we've been married for
six years yet it feels like I met you yesterday.

I love you Trayco Ross!

One of the those weekends that need to happen more often

The weekend started with a long
awaited Hogwarts Party!

Snitch cake made by yours truly

I love Kai's intense Harry Potter
 face in this one

The whole crew!

The next day Amy was nice enough
to take us all to Lagoon
as well as purchase Old Fashion pictures!

I haven't been to Lagoon since
 9th grade
and it was Trayco's first time.

I have always wanted to
get old fashion pictures and it was SO much fun!

We got poured on all day but still
had a great time.

I talked everyone into riding The Cannibal
and then I screamed like a baby the entire ride.

Kai was a champ and was
the bravest one

Check out that drop off!

Riding the Train!

Thanks for the great weekend Amy!
It was a highlight of the year
