Nothing puts a smile on your face like opening
your door to the best surprise in the world!

Thank you Amy!
You have no idea how much these sunflowers brightened my day

Edge Madness

Every summer Edge has a sales competition called the "Madness"
It's set up like March Madness where you are ranked
and then go head to head against someone.

Each round last for two days and if you sell more then the person you are going against, you move on to the next round. They have awesome prizes for each round once you get to the top 32, and it's a big deal. Everyone works their butt off and stays out late to try and out sell their opponent.

To cut to the chase, TRAYCO WON THE ENITRE THING! He out sold everyone in the entire company, which means he won all of the prizes including a trip for two to New York City! I am so proud of him. He sold 10 accounts on the second to last day of the competition and six on the last day (he usually sells about 20 in a week so 16 in two days is a big deal).

Trayco brought this huge bracket home
from the office and I have a feeling it is going to be a
focal point in every apartment we live in :)

^Awful lighting but that's what you get
when your apartment is lighted solely by lamps!

^Ranked 19th. Everyone loves an underdog!

And these pictures are just because these are the two things I am most excited to see, Times Square and the Brooklyn Bridge. I have a feeling we are going to be very out of place in such a big city but we are VERY excited.

Family Camp 2016

I have not been to family camp (or up to Idaho) since before my mission.
That means the last time I was at family camp was in 2012.

I left Trayco home to work and flew to Utah and
Jamie picked me up on the way to Idaho.
I forgot how peaceful and beautiful it is.
Life seems a little slower at Grandma's house and I don't mind it one bit.

^That is a lot of Great Grandkids!

Happy 4th of July!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 4th of July.
Summer, BBQ's, America, Fireworks, what else do you need?

The 4th of July is an even happier day now because
it's the only day in the entire summer that Trayco gets off of work.

We spent the day in Sedalia with the Edge crew.
We had a big BBQ and tubbed down the river.

I somehow managed to be the only one who
got booted off their tube and into the river.

We spent most of the day on the river and then came home
and cleaned up and ate at Old Chicago, amazing pizza!

Trayco knew of all the best spots to watch fireworks
so we spent a while at the spot trying to save spots for the rest of the crew.

Garden of the Gods

The Garden of the Gods is found in Colorado Springs and has various sizes and shapes of red rock formations that were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. It has ties to various indian tribes dating clear back to 1330 BC. It is simple yet stunning.

Buy Me Some Peanuts and Crackjacks

We spent the day down town and watched the Rockies play the Toronto Blue Jays!

If I had to sum up this day in two words they would be
Hot and HOT!

We did a lot of walking to get lunch and then had to walk a ways to the field where our seats were directly in the sun. I thought I was going to melt into my chair. My tears ran down my face along side my sweat haha. I was seriously considering stripping down and doing a dance to get the rain gods attention. We stuck it out and were glad that we did because the game finally got good in the last inning even though the Rockies still lost.

^Fighting traffic was so worth little man ice cream.
We ate them so fast we almost forgot to get a picture!

If this post had a title it would be called,

Let's see how many fun things you can do while
your mom and sister are in town!

I had such a great time going on so many adventures!

H2O'Brien Water Park
^We hadn't been swimming together since before or missions.
We didn't have too hard of a time falling back into our tan and dip routine :)

Finding Dory

^a picture is a must when you're the only ones in the theater

Denver Temple!

^shopping treasures,
yes she bought them and she even got over charged for them
and didn't care because she loved them that much!

^My dad lived in Aurora for a few months before
he moved back to Utah and met my mom.

We found his old apartment which is now in a sketchy part of town.
Needless to say we only stayed long enough to
snap a picture through the car window
