Jamie stayed in town the rest of the week! We were honestly exhausted from fitting so much in with Austin. We watched a lot of Netflix but managed to get out of the house for some adventures.
We drove up to Fort Collins to check out the new temple. My A/C wasn't working on the way up there and it was HOT! I prayed so hard in the temple that it would work on the way home and it did! Miracles are real :)
We went on this really really awesome hike to Paradise Cove. The hike was beautiful and ends at this little water hole where people cliff dive. We weren't there terribly long before these dark clouds came tumbling in. Most of the people there started to hike back out but we decided to wait it out under a tree. And then we waited and waited and the rain got harder and the thunder got louder. There was one other family that was also waiting it out and they decided to hike back out in the rain and we didn't want to be the ones left in case something happened so we decided to brave it. It was raining so hard that we were literally drenched within two seconds of getting out from under the tree. The rain was unreal. It rained so much in such a short time that the path turned into a river. Thankfully we had our water shoes so we were able to wade through the water in our swim suits. It was one of the situations where you can't help but laugh!
