Birthday Surprise

I surprised Jamie on her birthday up in Logan and took her out for lunch! I didn't have very much time but we had a fun time. I went to class with Jamie and then we walked around campus. 

2017 Ross Tournament

Another year, another tournament! 

This year was one for the books. 

Trayco played on a 6 foot and under team and on an open team. 

They won a few and lost a few. 

We slept at Aunt Dawn's and Uncle Cody's house

 this year and had a grand ole time. 

My favorite part of the tournament is playing with all the little cousins!

Lunch with Grandma

Before we left for Colorado, Grandma was really set on having me over of lunch. It has been really neat to live right around the corner from her. It was fun to meet Grandma's "in crowd" and lunch was pretty good! 

March Madness

Trayco's friend Braxton texted him months ago as soon as he heard the first round of March Madness was going to be in Utah. We booked our tickets immediately! Our seats were pretty high but it was a really cool experience to be able to see so many games right in a row. The best part of the entire thing is that Trayco's favorite team, Gonzaga was picked to play in Utah. It was a dream come true!

2017

Step back in time and imagine that I'm in Duluth, riding my bike in a rain storm. We stopped by a less active (Brian) to see if he still lived there and he welcomed us right in. Him and his girlfriend (Whitney) were eating hamburgers and they let us sit down and we got to know them and they even let us share a scripture with them. 

They kept inviting us over for dinner and we eventually started teaching them. They had some major life style changes to make so the teaching process went very slowly but I just knew that someday Whitney would get baptized. I came home and Whitney and Brian continued to take the lessons and they eventually got married and she got baptized!

She sent me this picture and said "Guess What?" My heart was so incredibly happy to see them standing in front of the temple dressed in white. I often miss the emotion of joy that came from being a missionary and seeing this picture brings all those feelings back to me. 

Springbreak

I was happy to have Jamie home for Spring Break. 

We went to a BYU baseball game, 

did family baptisms at the Draper Temple, 

and I watched Kory for a couple hours while my mom was at scouts! 

Who says Spring Break can't be fun when you're taking online classes. 

Disneyland

Day 2!

Our feet were killing us but our hearts were happy! 

Trayco's favorite part of Disneyland was the Star Wars Exhibit. 

We can't wait for Star Wars Land to open. 

I FINALLY rode Space Mountain. 

It was closed both times I went when I was little. 

We saw the Mickey Mouse Magical Map show and it was awesome. 

I was so happy to see Pocahontas!

We saw MOANA!

I have such fond memories of the light parade! We were fighting all the crowds trying to leave the park after the parade because we wanted to ride Splash Mountain!
