Temple #4

The Payson temple is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Everything is so open and light.

Trayco said if the Draper temple wasn't our temple,
then he would have wanted to get married in Payson
because he loves the design of the outside and the
details on the inside.

The sun was really bright and we had
a hard time getting a good picture..

The Payson Utah Temple is the 15th temple built in Utah
and the 3rd built in Utah County

The Payson temple has 5 levels

"There is a general significance that we tend to go up
towards heaven as we get to the higher ordinances."
      -Elder Kent F. Richards

Bottom floor: Bapistry
Second floor: Dressing Rooms
Third Floor: Chapel waiting Room
Fourth Floor: Instruction Rooms
Fifth Floor: Sealing Rooms

The theme in the Payson Temple is apple orchards to represent the surrounding area.

The glasswork displays apple blossoms featured in different stages.  On the bottom floor the blossoms are barely buds. As you advance to each level, the apple blossoms grow until they are in full bloom.

"The ordinances on the higher levels of the temple are more special. Ordinances are progressive, so the apple blossoms become a little more lovely and a little more beautiful."
-Elder Kent F. Richards
