I have been SO excited to go to the Manti temple!
Trayco was nice enough to let me give him a
tour around Ephraim and show him around campus
and show him where I lived.
It was strange to think that I didn't know
Trayco back when I attended Snow because
I feel like I've know him forever.
We ate at Freds and then went through a session.
It was Trayco's first time going through a live session
and we were asked to be the witness couple!
Afterwards one of the temple coordinators
took us on a little tour and showed us
the different sealing rooms, the baptistry
and the giant spiral stair cases.
The wind was so loud we could hear it while
we were inside the temple and when
we came out, it was snowing hard.
We drove all around the temple to find
a picture of the signand it turns out there isn't one
The Manti Temple was the third temple built in Utah
It was the only temple dedicated
by President Lorenzo Snow
Twin self-supporting, open centered spiral staircases
wind five stories up each tower of the temple.
The dramatic stairways are considered
an engineering marvel of the Mormon Pioneers
The Manti Temple is one of only seven temples
where patrons progress through four ordinance rooms
before passing into the Celestial Room.
Three of the four rooms
(Creation Room, Garden Room, World Room)
feature beautiful hand-painted murals
