Ensenada

Ensenada was Trayco and I's first time leaving the country!
This trip was a lot of "firsts" for us.

When we first left the boat it was pretty ghetto and I was thinking, oh boy this might be a long day. But after a short bus ride we got to see one of the most beautiful views that I have ever seen with my two eyes.

We kind of got scammed into taking a bus ride with a bunch of people from Edge. A lady came and told us if we all paid the bus would take us around the entire day to the blow hole, the beach, and then to the market. So we all thought wow what a good deal, we can have this bus for the day and it will take us all over. Well it turns out the blow hole, beach, and the market are all at the same place and it would have been way cheaper to take individual taxi's. But what do you do!

On the way to the blow hole there is a very long street and there are hundreds of little shops that are actually just shacks lined up next to each other. It was crazy, as soon as our big group got off the bus, all of workers came out of the shop and started trying to get us to come into their shop by giving us free samples of tequila.

The view was incredible!!

My favorite part of the day was the blow hole. It was really fun to watch.
Fun fact, there are 3 natural blow holes in the world. One in Maui, one in Ensenada and one in Australia. We have been to two of them so I told Trayco that now we have to go to Australia sometime in our life to see the third one!

After the blow hole we decided to buy some souvenirs. It was so funny, once they found out that our entire group was Mormon, they stopped offering us tequila and brought out all their BYU gear to try and get us into their shop. A lot of the workers spoke English but they LOVED that Trayco could speak Spanish and it worked out because Trayco was able to barter the price down on everything. We ended up buying a blanket, a magnet, and a Utah State backpack.

Some of the little shops were food places
and they had THEE best tacos and churros
that I have ever tasted.

^seriously so yummy!

Before we got off the bus our "tour guide" aka the lady that scammed us, told us that the last person on the bus had to wear the sombrero and sing everyone a song. Hector was the last one and she would not let him sit down without singing, it was hilarious.

There were a bunch of seals
that were hanging out by the cruise ship.
They smelled awful!
