We made a goal to attend every temple in Utah
before we move to Colorado for the summer!
Our plan was to do a session at the
Oquirrh Mountain temple
but we found out the hard way that
it is closed for cleaning.
Thankfully the Jordan River temple
is close and we were able to catch the next session.
It was meant to be because the Jordan River
is closing in February for two years
as it will undergoing extensive renovations.
Fun facts about the Jordan River Temple:
It was the 7th temple built in Utah
It is the highest capacity temple in the church,
with six ordinance rooms each seating 125 patrons
It is one of 5 temples featuring the angel
Moroni statue holding the gold plates
